We first met back in the Summer of 06 - at a church activity at my sisters house.
I was going into my Senior year in high school and he had graduated.
I was scared of boys! yes, what 17 year old girl is scared of boys? oh. me.
I did not talk to him on the fact that he looked... straight thug.
here's a little glimpse of him.
ok, the more I look at the picture, the less thug he looks
but when you're used to country boys.
ya know - the ones with the big trucks & boots.
that may seem a little country.
To be honest I'm sure he definitely was not interested in this.
No... Not the cow.
ME.
Country Girls & City Boys. Just didn't mix in my mind.
So the Party Ended.
I Graduated High School & Went on to Pensacola to play volleyball
& Mr. Anderson, served a Mission in Idaho.
(this is where he claims he became country - i'm not convinced)
Up to this point. I had never thought about Ghetto Boy.
2 years later.
I had decided to move to Tally.
and he came home from his Mission.
& once again, I was not interested..
well, for a whole four months.
We became friends, through a mutual friend.
which then turned into.
"The Family"
most nights with "the FAM" were spent at The Diner on FSU campus.
or at my apartment, until 3 am.
sleep was a rare commodity during those days.
We had the best of times.
Blake & I played H.O.R.S.E many many times.
& of course I WON!
I fell pretty hard during those two years.
For the one person, back in High School - I never would have expected.
It was a long... yes, trust me L O N G.
journey to where we are now.
But the Lord knows what you need.
& when you need it.
and three years later
this was us.
WARNING: NOT VIEWABLE BY THE CHILDREN.
oh wait, it's just L O V E!
Now, we're Married!
& I continue to fall more in Love EVERY DAY.
