We've almost survived a whole 2 months of Marriage.
I think I've surpassed quiet a few peoples expectations... not for surviving a marriage.
But, for actually getting married.
My brother's did (pretty sure they weren't joking) always say no guy would ever marry me.
Well, luckily (or unluckily) for Blake. I DID
& I'm GLAD I did.
So much has happened in the past two months.
Blake Started School :)
Despite this face
(that kindergardener's usually make on their first day)
He was excited!
& he's a SUPER student.
Comes home with sticker's occasionally.
other than the new student in the Family.
We've planted a garden.
Which includes:
Red, Yellow & Green Peppers
Watermelon
Squash
Eggplant
oh. & since it's been. like yearsssss since I've blogged.
Check out the Fruits of our Labors
(by ours, I mostly am referring to Blake's Labors)
Blake treats these things like they're his kids.
seriously, I love it.
it's kind'a cute.
We've made a goal to attend the Temple monthly.
which has been HUGE.
& awesome.
As far as other things go.
I'm coaching the Local High School Volleyball team.
(which I LOVE)
Blake Get's his weekly dose of basketball, with some old folks.
Our camera has been dead for weeks.
we've been without internet.
& like most newlywed's - we're poor.
oh & STILL working on Thank-You cards.
we're kind of pathetic.
But we're greatly blessed.
& couldn't ask for anything more.
As Always,
The Andersons
Don't feel bad... the rules say that you technically have a year for thank you cards! However... as soon as you get them done, it's as if a 50 lb weight has finally be taken off your back! ;)
ReplyDeletei am soooo impressed by that there garden! i need to learn how to not kill things...
ReplyDeleteI agree your garden looks amazing!!! I'm so happy to hear everything is going so well. Chris and I made the same goal after marriage to go to the Temple once a month and it's seriously the highlight of every month. we leave and the same day I can't wait for the next month =)
