So we had G over one night for dinner. We were sitting outside on the glider, we stole from her, looking over the lake talking about how we love living "down by the lake"... Then.
We start talking about this bush
- a bush that I really liked in our front yard.
(ps. that is not our actual front yard - or bush. It's just what it look[ed] like.)
You see, this bush just goes with the whole lake thing - it just fit in. G asks if I like it and of course I tell her I do, but that "it needs to be cleaned up around the edges and maybe get that little bit of dead out of the middle."
G offers the idea of cleaning it up and then burning it.
An idea that just rings in the ears of a pyro lover...
So with that being said.
I'm at work one day, as usual.
Blake comes up to the store & our conversation goes something like this:
B: "Have you ever tried to do something good for someone and it doesn't turn out the way you plan?"
E, the smart-eleck:"No - it always turns out good"
B:"Oh. Wellllllll...."
E: "What'd you do"
B:"You know that bush You & G were talking about - remember how she said to burn it, well I did that... and it burnt the whole Bush"
(this actually looks good... this is after it has grown back some for 2 months)
Yeah. So about what Grandma said.. She said to clean it out and then burn the dead stuff.
Blake is still learning to understand
the way we talk here in the country.
or either he just really didn't like the bush?
Hope you all had a great thanksgiving,
The Anderson's
hahaha, i love it!
