Yo Amo Colombia!

Before we left I honestly had NO clue of what to expect.
& to be honest, could have cared less.
I knew we were moving to Texas when we got home -
and that's what I was most focused on.
(that's a sign I NEEDED this vacation)

Needless to say the the care-less attitude soon drifted away
& I was soaking up all the perks of this Beautiful Country.

Beautiful. Seriously.
who can argue that.
& Why didn't I bring a good Camera?
I honestly cannot answer that question -
other than the fact that I didn't want to haul it around.
we call that "flojo" in Espanol.

Favorite part about the trip?
besides the beautiful city & isalnds.
THE MAID.

Seriously.
All my clothes were washed before we came back to the states.
she cooked us EVERY MEAL. & cleaned up too.
Made my bed every morning.
Brought me FRESH mango juice to the pool,
(without me even asking or knowing I wanted any)
You name it - she did it.
I considered smuggling her back with me ;)

this vacation was perfect.
the families we stayed with were beyond amazing
& made us feel like family.
the Country was beautiful.
and had absolutely amazing food.
I was SO in love with all the FRESH JUICES.
Jugo de Mango was my Favorite.
*Translation: Mango Juice*

Now we're in the Lone Star State of TEXAS.
Nothing like Colombia.
Still waiting for the maid to arrive and cook lunch.

meanwhile I'll just stare at these pictures and pretend -
that we're back in the land of Fresh Juice & Maids.

best ice-cream sticks EVER.

gorgeous sunset'ish view. Horrible Picture.

this picture was taken to capture the CHICKEN that guy brought on the boat
Water Taxi to the Island
Island we stayed on

One of my Favoite Pictures. I LOVE the Coral walls they built.
There are over 1000 pictures that I took.
& let's be honest.
that will just take to long to upload.
