We celebrated a little early (Friday)
Which included me taking him to get some
Headphones he's been drooling over.
Dinner.
Driving Around.
Walking the Mall.
Going to SAM's & realizing we NEVER go shopping.
Making impulse buys that proved to be great.
& having some true realizations that the things we bought
really meant we are getting old.
1) Socks
2) Dress Shirts
3) New Cooling Pillow
Blake mentioned: "We need to come here more often, this is FUN"
We did go for round two Saturday night -
which included more food and bowling.
he may have been bummed we didn't make another stop by
SAMS since it's so much fun!
Here's 27 fun facts about the Birthday Boy.
1. He loves chocolate. more than everything but me ;)
2. He SNORES. REALLY LOUD.
(I once plugged his nose because it was so loud & i couldn't sleep - needless to say he woke up thinking someone was trying to kill him)
3. Despite what you may think. He thinks he's a real cowboy.
4. He usually takes longer to get ready than I do.
5. He is selfless.
6. He is a true old man and usually tried to go to bed between 8 & 9 pm.
7. He loves our Nephews, and is going to be a great dad one day
8. We put on shows occasionally for my family. (some of them anyways)
Water Aerobics, Olympic Skating Shows, etc. etc.
9. He is still a kid at heart. (and mind sometimes)
10. He is afraid that he will be (cursed) with lots of girls.
11. He will eat anything I make. even if it's horrible and I don't eat it, he will.
He basically has really generous tastebuds.
12. He loves taking pictures. And being in pictures. and posing for pictures.
He can strike a mean pose.
13. He genuinely thinks he can speak spanish. (He CAN'T.)
14. He LOVES Florida State Football. (who could blame him)
15. I'm pretty sure he still doesn't know what he wants to be when he grows up
(although whatever it is, he will be great at it)
16. Before we started dating he touched my hand once (we joke - it was love from first hand touch.)
17. To have so little hair. He is VERY picky about it.
18. Every time he is at my parents he has a bowl of ice-cream.
19. He is an overprotective chicken father.
He wakes up in the middle of the night if he hears noises and checks on them.
20. He supports me in my hobbies.
21. He LOVES to garden.
22. He is way more goofy than I ever imagined
23. There is this country accent that he loves to talk in.
I HATE IT.
24. Wait, is he not 23 anymore? Holy Cow, where's the time going?
Speaking of Cows. He loves the Cows. & has become quiet the Nacho.
25. He is a tractor driving Hunk.
26. He will warm up my side of the bed for me before I get in bed.
That's true love right there.
27. We once picked up a kid for church that when he came outside has a tie tied around his neck, you could tell the boy tried but really didn't know how to tie it. Tears welled up in my eyes as I watched Blake stand on the boys porch take his tie and show him how to tie it. Then fixed his collar and helped him. He does things like that for others. He will help anyone. That help and love for others comes from his love for our Savior. I married one great guy!
