It's not so hard to say goodbye to 2014.

2014… Not at all the year that we expected, it threw its fair share of punches at us. But even with those low blows, it has been a year full of a lot of experiences and some fun times all along the way.

My highlight of the year was most definitely going to the Open House at the Ft. Lauderdale Temple. That was such a fun getaway for me. The Temple was breathtaking, even with the pouring down rain that came right as we were pulling up. ( I don't even consider that one of the punches of 2014).

After the Temple we hit up the Beach. Rode Jet-Ski's, ate the most delicious fish tacos, and laughed like there wasn't a care in the world. This trip was most definitely the highlight of my year. It was so simple, yet so perfect.

If you ask Blake his favorite thing from 2014, he would probably say: " The FSU Football Games". We started the season off in Dallas with the Noles, and have been at every single home game. (I may have went to the mall instead of one of the games, because it was pouring down rain) Yes, I AM a fair weather fan.

We had a lot of fun at those games. We may both have shorter lives because of all the heart problems caused, but at least we had a good time. My favorite game of the season was FSU vs. Notre Dame. In all my college days of Football games, I have NEVER heard Doak Campbell Stadium THAT Loud. It was crazy. It was intense. and it was so much fun.

I'm not sad to say goodbye to 2014. I'm excited for a new year, for new adventures and experiences and the lessons that come along with it.
