February

January ended with a trip to Orlando, with my sister and her husband. It's always a quick trip because the drive down is pretty timely. However, it always manages to be the perfect trip.

We somehow ended up with 2 of our Nephews spending the night at our house. Layne, that I often refer to as the baby, that's not so much of a baby any more, spent his second night ever at our house... and then two weeks later his third. He slept in our bed, just like his big brother, and was so excited to be there. There was two adults, and two kids in our queen size bed. I somehow managed to fall out of the bed (couldn't be because of the huge amount of room), and was wedged between the dresser while everyone was sleeping.

Blake and Camden (the older one) have a tradition that every time he spends the night they do this thing called the basketball toss. not sure who came up with the name for that. But camden runs to the end of the bed, does a mid-air jump and twist and lands in Blake's arms that are made into a basket. Layne, who is the little daredevil, saw them doing this, and of course had to join in. Blake saved him from a almost fatal crash off the side of the bed. These boys are seriously crazy,  but so much fun!

Neither Blake or I can remember what we did for Valentines day. I'm pretty sure we stayed home, because I was preparing to fly out the next morning. However we did go out the night before to our favorite chinese restaurant. I do remember that, because I was a little disappointed that I got a fortune cookie with no fortune. I seriously felt doomed...

** I finally figured out what we did for Valentines Day, and can't believe we even forgot. Good things for pictures that Jot a Memory. For Valentines day our sweet Sister-in-Law got baptized. Blake and I took the day off and headed over to Tallahassee to be a part of her special day! We spent the morning at the Church for that, ate lunch, and headed back so I could finish packing for my vegas trip.

The next 7 days were spent in Vegas and Utah. I spent Sunday through Thursday in Vegas for an apparel market, where I go and buy new things for the store. Mom was my chaperone for the trip (unfortunately Blake doesn't get to go on this trip) and my sister joined us on Tuesday evening for the remainder of the trip. We had our little routine while we were there. I introduced my mom to Juice Bars, and that became our morning routine. I had wheatgrass in mine. that is definitely worth mentioning. It was ridiculously healthy, and good. Now I just need one of these set-up's in my house.

We managed to sneak away to the Temple one evening. It was my first time inside the Las Vegas, Temple. It was a special experience that I will never forget.

We spent one night wandering around The Strip. There is plenty of craziness around there, but also a lot of really neat things to see. Since it was Chinese New Year, all of the hotels were set up for that. And all of China was in town to see it and celebrate! (My pictures of Chinese New Year are pretty horrible, and don't do it justice)

The Girls
I got some new glasses

Thursday we finished up shopping pretty early and headed out for some more exploring. This time we decided to go to Red Rock. Despite the several trips I've made to Vegas, I've never explored around Red Rock. It was Beautiful.

on our way to find Red Rock.

It's a requirement to take pictures all along the way

No Trip to Vegas is complete without stopping by Serendipity. That Frozen Hot Chocolate is to die for. I may have drank most of it, while everyone else was distracted by the nachos. This food was too good not to document. and we decided we would just let that be dinner.

And just to document that fact that we did do more than explore and eat, I always take pictures of some of the things I book. This time, Frye Boots were the picture winner. We booked ladies boots, and the most adorable infant boots. I'm ready for al these to arrive in the Fall.

Friday morning I flew over to Utah to see my Best Friend (formally known as my BFMF, or Holly). I had only met her oldest kid, Capri twice. Once when she was born, and once for a quick Ice Cream when they were in Florida. So I was prepared to win Capri's heart over. And I had never met Callum.

Me and Capri hit it off, after a few hours. And I think it's safe to say we're now friends. It's always fun to catch up with Friends. And I'm glad I got to fly over for a few extra days. But I was definitely missing Blake, that was the longest we've been apart since we've been married. Not trying to beat that  record anytime soon.

And while the Girls are away the boys will play...

We always laugh at Blake and Dustin about dressing alike, especially if it's just them and the boys. They made sure to match to pick Jessica up from the Airport. Pretty sure all these boys had a blast while we were gone.

February was a little crazy, and went by super fast. March has been another busy month, but we've had so much fun. arguably the best month of the year so far! I'm already a fan of 2015.
